Potage delivers seasonal, lovingly handmade and balanced food for your freezer. Founded by Georgia Cummings in 2012, Potage is on a mission to build a zero waste food business that makes eating well easy and enjoyable with their delicious doorstep deliveries.
Georgia started the company with £1,000 after her Mum broke her ankle. During the time Georgia looked after her, she took over her mum’s kitchen, built a website and started selling a different pot every day. A ready to heat homemade dish delivered with a piece of focaccia, and Potage was born.
“As a busy mum I don’t always have time to cook from scratch so having a freezer full of seasonal, deliciously balanced and lovingly handmade Potage that can be cooked from frozen in minutes gives me more time without having to compromise on the quality of what my family eats.”Everything is handmade in small batches – in their London kitchen just behind new Covent Garden Market – by chefs just like you would at home. The meals are made using local, ethically sourced ingredients and as many British seasonal ingredients as possible. The packaging is either recyclable, reusable or compostable. Potage believes healthy eating is a balance of quality, quantity and frequency.
