The maker

Alex Pole is the founder and designer of Forge Kitchenware; “Blacksmithing is not just a craft to me, but a way of life.” Having always had a fascination with metals Alex attended art college to first study jewellery making, then architectural ironwork. In 2013 he took a course at Gransfors Bruks, the world renowned Swedish axe making centre, and discovered a great love of tool making.
