David Crichton and his wife Alexandra have run the Monzie Estate since 2014, alongside farm manager Wilson Peters. Together they have turned the historic property into a sustainable accommodation business, reinvesting profits into ongoing restoration projects and the estate’s renewable-energy initiatives.
We love Brae Cottage for its seamless blend of modern luxury and sustainable living, its private hill-top setting with breathtaking star-filled skies, and the thoughtful touches – from the wood-burning stove to the welcome hamper – that make a romantic retreat feel both indulgent and responsible.
