The maker
Amanda Brooks is an artist living and working in a converted church in Devon. She paints with watercolours, acrylics, oils and egg tempera, often on gold leaf. Her work is influenced by her love of Japanese art and old natural history illustrations and celebrates the small wildlife treasures she sees and discovers in the countryside and coast.
