Jayce grew up in St Ives, and is a very keen surfer who spends a lot of his time in the sea. Hannah, originally a Geography teacher from Kent, settled in St Ives, and is passionate about food, interior design and exploring the Cornish coastline. Together, they love to travel, but also love home comforts. They’ve lived on this plot of land for 4 years, growing organic veg and flowers whilst building their dream home.
They love
“Rolling a yoga mat out on the top mezzanine to stretch in the sunshine.”
We love
The open-plan style, use of natural materials, big windows and calm, uncluttered vibe. It was carefully designed this way by Jayce and Hannah, to make them feel connected to nature at all times and nurture their wellbeing.

FAQs.
The owners live on site – Bamboo House is their home but over the summer they rent it and live in a cabin in in the adjacent field (separate to the Bamboo House garden). They are often here to meet guests and answer questions / point you in the direction of the best Cornish Pasty, but they are super mindful of your privacy.
Sorry, no dogs allowed, as the owners have a Cocker Spaniel. He can be a bit barky but he is harmless and doesn’t take long to stop barking and give you a tail wag!
This is often possible, and can be confirmed 48 hours before your stay.
Penzance and St Ives are each a 10-minute taxi away.
Yes, if you’re happy to supervise them at all times. There are a few areas in the garden with big drops, including a high drop to the river to the front left of the house.
