*Brand new*

There are plenty of countryside cabins where you can wake up to birdsong. But very few where you can wander a few steps from bed and ask someone to whip you up a flat white and delicious brunch. Set amongst rows of Christmas trees and wildflower meadows on a sustainably run farm, these charcoal-black cabins feel more like tiny houses. Interiors, by a Soho House designer, are beautifully pared back – chalky neutrals, tactile fabrics, and chunky wooden furniture – while the sleeping spaces are tucked beneath the steeply pitched roofs upstairs. (One has a downstairs bedroom too, and sleeps 4.) They each have a hot tub too, but the stars of the show are those soaring triangular windows, filling the living spaces with light, and framing trees, meadow and great swathes of sky.

The excellent Rise + Grind cafe sits further down the track serving breakfast, brunch & lunch daily (book ahead for Sunday lunch). Eat your fill then borrow the complimentary bikes and zip to the swimming and paddleboarding lake nearby. Or go walking: Bredon Hill and the Malvern Hills offer wildly beautiful hikes. Stratford-upon-Avon is an inspiring day out, while Broadway in the Cotswolds is an idyllic place to potter. Come without a plan and see what unfolds.

Drive, or train to Evesham then taxi (10 mins)

Owners Picture Fields Farm Cabins

“Over the years we’ve gradually found new ways to diversify our farm. It started with Rise + Grind – our independent brunch restaurant – followed by an events barn, lifestyle shop and seasonal experiences; now the 3 cabins are our latest chapter. My partner is an interior designer whose past projects include Soho House, Daylesford and Restoration Hardware, so there’s an expert hand behind all that good taste! Everything we do is rooted in the farm and the landscape around us – more than anything, we wanted to create a place where you can eat really well, spend time outdoors, stay the night and experience the farm as a whole.” Owner, Josh

My Kip favourites

He loves
“That guests can spend an entire weekend without needing a car: great coffee and brunch on the farm, a morning swim in the nearby lake, a bike ride through the lanes, and an evening in the hot tub as the sun sets over the fields.”

We love
The contrast between the dramatic black A-frames and their soft, tactile interiors – all warm timber and earthy neutrals.

You may not love
This is a working farm so you may hear machinery / encounter wildlife.

Sustainability.

Sustainability is woven into life at Fields Farm. More than 8,000 trees are planted here each year, alongside wildflower meadows created for bees, butterflies and other wildlife. Solar panels help power the site, the wood-fired hot tubs use timber sustainably harvested from the farm’s own woodland, and Rise + Grind sources plenty of its ingredients locally. There are even complimentary bikes for exploring the countryside without the car.

  • Watersedge is just a 5-minute walk away, with an 11-acre lake for open-water swim loops plus a dipping area if you’re more of a quick-plunge person. There are paddleboards, wood-fired saunas and a Wild Spa too.
  • Grab foodie supplies at Chadbury Farm Shop, Fladbury Butchers and Pershore’s independent shops, then cook up a storm in your cabin.
  • Walk up Bredon Hill, which rises to almost 300m on the edge of the Cotswolds, offering huge views across Worcestershire towards the Malverns.
  • Ounce at The Dolphin pub is a 25-minute walk away and specialises in butcher-cut beef; its menus include steak nights and burgers.
  • Taste wines at Deer Park Wines, a family-run vineyard on Bredon Hill growing Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Bacchus among others. Book a vineyard tour and tasting; you might spot the resident red and fallow deer while you’re there.
  • Spend a morning in Broadway (Cotswolds), all honey-coloured stone, independent shops and good things to eat; carry on up to Broadway Tower if you fancy stretching your legs.
  • Capability Brown’s first major landscaped gardens surround Croome Court – good for a long walk followed by cake in their cafe.
  • Head to Stratford-upon-Avon for Shakespeare, timbered buildings and a wander along the Avon – it’s close enough for a cultural day out without sacrificing your countryside weekend.
